ARTISANS & COLLABORATIONS
MEET THE PERSON WHO EMBROIDERED YOUR GARMENT
Before it reaches you, every piece passed through the hands of an artisan with a story of her own. Meet her face, her work and the value of every stitch.
THE ORIGIN
PEOPLE, STITCHES AND STORIES.
Every stitch continues knowledge learned within the family and passed down through generations. Meet some of the people who bring our embroidery to life.
Doña Remedios Ángeles
Tenango de Doria, Hidalgo
She has embroidered since she was nine. Her deer and birds are unmistakable in every collection.
Juana Cruz Hernández
San Nicolás, Hidalgo
She learned the craft from her grandmother and today teaches it proudly to her own daughter.
Margarita Pérez
Santa Mónica, Hidalgo
A specialist in birds and bright flowers that seem to breathe on the fabric.
Ofelia San Juan
El Nith, Hidalgo
Patience turned into art: each of her pieces can take up to three weeks.
Lucía Ramírez Bautista
Tenango de Doria, Hidalgo
She founded a small embroidery circle at home to work alongside other women.
Petra Godínez
San Pablo, Hidalgo
She blends Otomí tradition with new colour palettes without losing the root.
DOCUMENTARY
THE PROCESS, STITCH BY STITCH
A short film that follows the process, from choosing the design and the colours to the final stitch. Discover the time, the technique and the artisanal knowledge that shape every piece.
HOW WE COLLABORATE
WE GROW TOGETHER
Closeness begins with listening. We work directly with artisans to understand their needs, respect the way they interpret the world and create conditions that let them focus on their craft. The relationship is built through dialogue, shared learning and clear agreements.
Tools for the craft
We provide hoops, threads, needles, scissors and the materials needed to create each piece.
Dialogue and evolution
We exchange knowledge and feedback to refine the finishes and explore new possibilities, always respecting the technique and the expression of whoever embroiders.
Training to grow
We share training on pricing, decision-making, leadership, communication, teamwork, entrepreneurship, cultural protection and the use of technology.
Clear agreements
The price of each piece is agreed together, taking into account its technique, complexity and the time it takes to make. We never haggle over their work, and we set realistic delivery times that respect the pace of each piece.
